Dani's Master Plan for Your Business

Hopefully, you're well into your bootcamp at this point and gaining momentum in your business. Do You Have a Hobby or a Business?

When it comes down to it, there are two types of Young Living distributors:

1. Those who build their business

Learning to say "No" to things that are sucking your time away, is just as important as saying "Yes" to a select few things that will actually build a business that produces residual income.

High Tech Meets High Touch

Brian Carruthers, one of the top network marketing professionals in the world, says many people thought the internet was going to be the silver bullet for network marketing. "No more home classes! No more face-to-face meetings. A virtual business!"

The fact is, Carruthers says, "High tech will never replace high tough. Technology can enhance the process and make some aspects more efficient like filling out an application online. Even hosting a webinar to present to people across the globe is an amazing benefit. But you will not succeed if you try to eliminate what created the network marketing profession in the first place - relationships!

"Word-of-mouth works because it allows companies to market their products and services to our networks of people we interact with.

"This is a relationship business."

There is no substitute for having people come to home classes. This is where over 90% of our members have been introduced to Young Living and joined our team.

We can use the internet to invite friends, eliminate a paper trail, and share information, but at the end of the day - it is true friends sitting in the living room, smelling the oils, and hearing your stories that creates the magic of network marketing.

Is your WHY Bigger than the Obstacle? - Two Stories

If you don’t think Sarah Harnisch has a strong reason for what she does, you need to read her Gameplan book. It is so inspiring. It is not about the money – it is about the freedom.

Darren Hardy, editor of Success magazine, gives a great analogy in his talk, “Making the Shift”, which you can listen to on our Training page - he says, if someone offered you $20 to walk across a plank two feet off the ground, would you do it? Maybe.

But what if the plank was two stories off the ground in between two buildings? Would you still do it? Probably not.


But what if the opposite building was on fire and your child was in the burning building and the only way to get your child out of the danger was to walk that plank?

What does it mean to be Team Young Living?

I will start with a story you probably already know. It is the story of Nike and the Air Jordan high-top basketball shoe. 

Air Jordan is still the top selling shoe in the world and Michael Jordan still makes $60mil a year on commissions even though he hasn’t played basketball since 1993. 

Did Jordan design the shoe or know anything about shoes? No. The point is Nike and Jordan became an unstoppable team because they cooperated on the deal of a lifetime.
